I am interested in buying a Honda 2000i generator.

Best prices and shipping?

I have seen them on sale for as little as $895.00 locally. (last summer?)

Thanks!

I'd check the Oregonian, Craigslist and eBay as well as the local retails shops.

I got mine a few years ago from a place called Mayberrys. They're still around but their price is not the lowest one now. Check the ads in the back of Trailer Life and you'll find 3 or 4 places to buy them.

I am also in the market for an EU2000. I have been watching Ebay and Craigslist and it's almost unreal for what they sell for. If they
are in good condition they almost sell for what a new one costs. Actually, it is helping me make up my mind to buy a Honda because the
resale is so good on them. Maybe I will get lucky and find a deal on a used one before spring.

There are a few places that sell them for $869.00 delivered with no tax. Try Wisesales.com or Northerntool.

That's just the listed price...they're still up there...ergo. they haven't sold yet :whistling: I don't think there's any way to know how much the SOLD ones sold for....unless, of course, you're tracking auctions. :dunno:

I should have been more clear... I was refering to the used ones that sell on auction and the ones in good condition can often
sell for somewhat close to the $869.00 that it costs for a new one. I saw a used one on auction last week that sold for more than
$869.00!

I contacted my local Honda dealer. "On Sale" $999.00 But - they are willing to part with the gen for $949.00 (under duress of e-tailer pricing) LOL

Me thinks will buy from the local dealer for $70 more. That way I will have someone to choke if the generator croaks. :whistling:

Always nice to have someone local for larger purchases like this one will be.
