Hi, All;

Looks like this forum is about dead.  I hope to revive it!

Bought this travel trailer from Wisconsin, and traveled from SE AZ to get it!   These 26 to 28 RS are difficult to come by.

The springs were FLAT - FLAT - FLAT!    Keystone used the same springs as my 21 ORS.  It didn't do this 28 RSDS any favors.

I contacted Michigan Truck Springs.   They recommended the 2500 MS-052 springs.  Don't forget to get bushings for them, as they come with some cheap plastic or nylon ones.

The bolts do NOT SPIN -- Their heads are splined!    Spin the nut back on and beat the bajeezus out of them.

Please look past the totally worn bushing to the far side, where the leaf springs are flat.

The beginning.   Be prepared to replace ALL the bushings, including the three in the "equalizer" triangle piece.

Finally finished the first side.  Notice the nice curve to the leaf springs.  They are NOT supposed to be flat.

This is the "bushing" the leaf springs came with.

I swapped them out with bronze ones from Amazon.
