We just joined and are waiting on our new Outback and ran across this decal. We will have one on the TT and when not towing will also have one proudly displayed in the back window of the TV. If you see someone with the decal you know "THEY GET IT", but also who they are by their user name. If they are not part of this elite group then maybe its about time?

There is a thread with that link in the "For Sale" category.......

I originally set that up with ABC Decal to make those for us on the site........he still does them as the orders come in.

We've got ours proudly displayed on the back of the OB and on the passenger's side. Have yet to see any others out there except at the one rally that we made it to.

Thanks Huntr70 it is a great idea! This is what I see time and time again on this forum. People thinking outside the box and contributing in a positive way to make this a very unique and different type of venue.

Thanks to ALL and Happy Camping!! :sunny:

:whistling: We have ours displayed on the back of the Outback, so everyone following us knows who is in front of them. We also have them displayed on both sides of the TT.

Lmbevard; Come down to Texas and I think you will be surprised that most of us in the TEXAS OUTBACKERS have our decals. We always welcome visitors to our rallies.

It wasn't 2 weeks after my decals came in last year when I saw another Outbacker with his 2 sites down. WhiteSoxFan had his decals on too. :D

Just got our decals last night, SCHWEEET. B) If you see me honk. Maybe we need a secret honk or gang sign?? One pant leg rolled up maybe both. Oh, never mind those have been taken. Well that may be going to far. Outbackers are taking over, but lets maintain a low profile for now like the Trojan horse. Next I just need my TT to come in.

The "sign" is simply a head nod. Let's them know, that you know, that they know, you know, they know the Outback is the best trailer on the market.

Had mine on and got passed on 95 south by another outbacker. They were not towing but honked and waved at us. At first I had no idea who it was but they sent me a PM and cleared it all up. I told my wife, " see the sticker does work"...

Little story that got me thinking about this.... had a coworker notice the stickers on our outback one day in the parking lot. never said anything about the stickers specifically. month later made a comment (joke) in the hallway that he was heading to DT's this weekend for the party. I said why would you go to our house for a party, were going to be up north. he said i know were having a party while your away......long story short, (too late, i know) he had logged on here and was "stalking" me (as i like to joke with him about). Anyways kind of creaped me out that somebody could see the sticker then track what your doing by having your username on the sticker. I was thinking of removing the username part.

Hasn't been discussed much lately but it boils down to just being smart about the information you put online. Even in our beloved Outbackers as it is open to the public.

Sayonara,

I've thought about this same thing when I put mine on. As careful as we all are, I thought about that one time when some guy thinks I might have cut him off, or got too close, or slowed down too fast, or something. Well... name and and way to hound me are right there.

Just something to thing about.
