Thanks,

I'm pretty stoked to get the family out and have some fun. Still a little cold out but we'll make the best of it.

We visited Seward, very very nice area. If you like good candy you must go to Sweet Darlings candy shop. All candy is made there. I was lucky enough to go into the back were the candy is made. I was talking with the owner about candy ingredients and processes. He liked I knew a lot about candy and gave me a tour. He even said I could work there If we ever moved to Alaska.

have a great time,

kevin

Ps: also go into the Brown & Hawkins Mercantile.

That little candy shop is cool. Just a couple of blocks from the sea life center. Seward is the only place to be in Alaska on the 4th of July. Its a fun town.

Wish I would have seen your post before we headed to Seward last friday. It was nuts with all the boyscouts there. We stayed right on the beach at the salmon stream where the culverts were. Saw a couple other outbacks. Fun weekend.

I have to work this week but next week we'll be headed to Homer for some fun on the beach. Great place to fly kites.
