I have a question about a Atwood hot water heater. I'm not getting any power to it. I've tried the circuit board fuses nothing worked so far. I have 1 other issue and I'm not sure if it relates to it or not. With the power off and the battery disconnected I have 1 fuse that blows could it be a convertor issue that is causing all of this any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Did you check the rocker switch on the outside?   My sister was juuuuuust about ready to take her RV to the dealer before I told her to check that switch.

Does it work on 12v via propane?

Which fuse is blowing?  Can you post a picture of fuse?

I think I figured out the hot water after many long weekends but I still have he fuse issue. Sorry I left the camp ground can't take a pic. It is a 15 amp fuse in the panel that pops just a regular car type fuse

I'd bet you have a poor ground on whatever device that fuse is protecting.   Tell us which circuit it is on and we can help from there.

It says it is a fuse for the interior lights. What I can't figure out is why it pops When the battery and the cord is disconnected from the camper. Could a ground in he convertor do that

Disconnect shore power and check the ground/neutral wire conventions on the converter. Sometimes they wiggle loose during travel.

Only one, and it's a long shot.. When I got my trailer I had same issue. Propane worked fine but no electric.  Switch inside was working.  I just used propane for a couple of months and one camping trip I mentioned it to a fellow camper and he took me to his trailer to show me where his switch was.  I had actually looked at my heater to see if something was not hooked up but had not actually looked for another switch and I told him that I did not notice a switch on mine.  When I got back to my camper I looked again, much closer, and I found the switch.  It was in the same location as the picture I sent the link to but it was covered by metallic tape (same color as the hot water tank) and was virtually camouflaged.  I peeled the tape off and viola, there was the switch.

I don't know if your heater is the same as mine but that's all I can thing of.  Good luck.
