Yes I put one in and it makes winterizing a lot easier. I haven't noticed any reduced flow.
Adding antifreeze kit?
Anyone install the winterizing kit to aid in adding antifreeze?
I have heard someone report it slows down the water flow and causes some restriction. Anyone experience this? I guess if it were true, I'd just leave it alone and take the hose off the pump each time.

I just installed one and used it to winterize. It will be much quicker now. It looks to me the the valve is plenty big not to cut down on water flow. I didn't notice it diminish either.
