We are planning a two week trip to Galvastone Island in July. We found to RV parks on the island. Galvaston Island state RV park and another that is private. Anyone have information or personal knowledge about them.
Wes we camped at Galveston many times last year and the year before. In my opinion the State Park is the best .the pads are not too close so the guy next to you is about 50 feet away. Just over the dunes is the ocean. great view if you can get a pad that runs along the beach. We looked into the RV Park and was not impressed with how close the sites are to each other. Last memorial day we camped in the state park the weather and water were so great that if you had polarized glasses you could see the trout swimming by. The State Park only has water and electric but there is a dump station at front of the park. Good luck and have fun
ps if you need more information on other texas park send me a email [email protected]
