I need to replace the Ball Seal in my toilet. I have watched a couple of videos, doesn't look too bad, but how do I know what seal to purchase and where is a good place to get it?
Are you certain it needs to be replaced? On a regular basis, our's gets difficult to operate and doesn't seal well. When this happens, I put on the disposable gloves and clean the seal well both top and bottom. Then, I apply a thin coat of silicone grease. Works for us and lasts many months.
I tried cleaning and greasing it twice, it seals most of the time, but not always. I will probably still need to replace seals which is ok, but i cant find any identifing labels but this one. It is a porcelain toilet with foot flush. Any help identifing would be great.
