Thanks for that post, you brought back a flood of memories.
When I was a boy our family camped in a Nimrod pop-up. It was nothing more then a canvas tent on wheels to be honest but I have a lot of fond memories of those trips. That it why I am into camping now. I hope my kids can look back on our trips with fond memories.
I grew up camping in my parent's 1972 volkswagen camper with the popup roof. Had a lot of great trips in that camper. We got pulled over in Ohio one time for going 58 in a 55 zone, the trooper thought we were a bunch of hippies and was very relieved to see it was a family of four and sent us on our way.
I echo what camperDC says about the great memories and trying to give some to our kids.
