This weekend when we were flushing the toilet, the disc that slides open when you flush the toilet jammed. Apparently the large gasket around the disc had come loose and was preventing the disk from opening all the way. I managed to retrieve the gasket before it fell into the holding tank. Can I take the toilet apart to put the gasket back on or is this something I have to take to a dealer to have fixed.

I looked on the back of the toilet hoping I could just unscrew a few screws to lift off the bowl, but it didn't look like there was a way to take it off.

Anyone else have this problem?

You can probably fix it, but there might be another problem with it. I think I'd take mine to the dealer, or fix it and set an appointment for them to check it out later.

Yes it can be rebuilt but its not fun. I had to do the one in my old motorhome and it took 1/2 dozen trips to the rv parts store and a full day to get out and rebuilt then back in. You have to remove it turn it over then take it from there. Kirk
