Wife and I bought a 2008 30' RKS 5th Wheel. One owner garage kept.

I was checking the roof closer and noticed a soft spot near the ladder at the right rear corner. I pulled up the roof in that area and replaced some wood. I then re-glued the membrane down. I am going to replace the roof in a couple of months.

My question is, Has anyone noticed the rear corners are trimmed out higher than the membrane and the roof slopes to the corner? The way I see it, the design would force water to puddle or pool at each corner. Is that correct? Is there a way to install a new roof to mitigate the situation.....Thanks, Steve

I did quite a bit of research on applying rubber roof paint on a travel trailer. After the research, I chose Heng's because of all the good reviews and the seemingly easy procedure of using the product. I used a heavy coat on the edges and rolled the rest - goes on great and covers very well. The second coat even did better with about a quarter of a gallon leftover. Really pleased with the product and the price was very good.
