I am getting ready to replace 2 defective panels I had on my roof. Is anyone else interested in putting them on their trailers? If you are, let me know because I know of a place in Florida that has the best prices around.

I'm curious about them, how much do a couple of them along with the needed hardware run you?

To purchase two panels, now they are offering 55 watt panels, the charge controller and misc. wiring and hardware it will be right around 400 to 450 dollars. I have allready worked out all the mounting and electrical so it keeps it neat, simple and easy to install. The companies web name in Florida is - sunelec.com-. If you are interested let me know and I can walk you through the wiring. The break down on prices are,
55 watt panel -160.00 ea.
charge controller - 35.00
50'- 10/3 extension cord - 30.00
alum. hardware - 30.00
mics. hardware - 20.00

Thanks, probably still a way off before I decided if we go with a Honda generator or Solar Panels.

Did you read the article in the March Trailer Life about solar panels? Its on my stack of stuff to read.
