Does anyone know how many ft.# of torque are required when mounting the WD piece to the 'L' shaped, insert portion of the Husky hitch? Also the torque required when mounting the ball to the hitch? Like I posted before,, I'm gettin' this thing ready to go no matter what this weekend!!! Thanks for good info.

When installing a trailer ball, always use the lockwasher and nut that are given to you. An internal thread ball should be tightened to 270 ft. lbs. while a shank ball should be tightened to 175 ft. lbs.

Thanks Steve,
I have the external threads on mine. 175# is quite enough. My torque wrench only goes to 140. Good thing it's not the internal threads. At 240#
,, I might have to call some friends over for that.
Thanks again.

James
